About the Author

Dorothy Fletcher Bentley writes and illustrates delightfully quirky children’s books. In her lil world monsters learn kindness and strawberry jam-filled scones solve everything. Her Jamblewood (originally Lil Horreurs) series blends funny illustrations, gentle life lessons, and just enough frightful fun to thrill young readers and adults alike.

A web and graphic designer by day and lifelong storyteller, Dorothy creates from her home studio in the Irish countryside, fueled by hot chocolate tea and countless jammy scones.

Nine books published, 2 colouring books, 2 boxed sets and many more adventures brewing!

Dorothy is a self-published author. Read more about her publishing journey at Belfard Books.
